SPC’s SS27 collection, “Reading the Room,” continues the brand’s exploration of hierarchy by looking beyond structure and toward the subtle behaviors that exist within it.

“As kids, nobody handed us a manual explaining how hierarchy worked. We learned by watching. We noticed who people respected, how they dressed, where they stood, and how others responded to them. Long before we understood the rules, we learned to read the room.”

Rather than taking the story further, SS27 digs deeper into the world introduced in Chain of Command. Through familiar silhouettes, repeated garments, and refined styling, the collection explores the subtle signals, repeated behaviors, and the quiet visual cues that shape influence, authority, and belonging.

“Reading the Room” is another chapter in SPC’s ongoing study of how military structure is reinterpreted through hip hop culture.
